MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) - UPDATE: 10:04 a.m. The preliminary hearing for Carlos Kennedy has been rescheduled for October 12.
8:26 a.m. The man accused of killing retired realtor Zoa White is expected back in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.
Carlos Kennedy was arrested August 31 and charged with capital murder.
Investigators say Kennedy knew White, but they are not saying how. White was found dead inside her home on Springhill Avenue in June.
Kennedy’s attorney entered a not guilty plea by reason of temporary insanity earlier this month. He is being held in Mobile's metro jail under no bond.
