No bond for Fisher's accused killer

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) -  Trayon Washington, 17, was given no bond by Judge George Hardesty.

Washington is accused of killing Wendy Fisher.

Fisher allegedly yelled at the vehicle Washington was in to slow down as it was driving through her neighborhood this past Saturday.

Police said a verbal altercation ensued. According to witnesses, that's when Washington allegedly fired a shot, hitting fisher in the chest.

Along with determining a bond, Hardesty also assigned Washington an attorney, Art Powell. Washington has had representation in previous cases, and might keep that attorney in this case as well.

"I don't know whether or not Mr. Washington will remain my client or not, that issue will be determined between now and next Thursday when he's set for an arraignment," Powell said.

Powell said he's spoken with his client briefly, but plans on meeting with him within the next 24-hours.

Washington is still the only suspect arrested in the death of Fisher. Investigators believe as many as three other people were in the vehicle with Washington at the time of the shooting.
