Non-profit collects for Isaac survivors

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A non-profit organization called Eye of the Storm is collecting relief supplies for Hurricane Issac survivors.

The three day campaign aims to fill as many trucks as possible to help people in Mississippi and Southern Louisiana.

The first load will go to Hancock County, and the second location is still being determined.

Items needed include bottled water, diapers, formula, baby food, canned goods, dry foods and funds for diesel/trucks.

Collection Sites and times are listed below.

Thursday & Friday
8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Christ United Methodist Church
6101 Grelot Road
Mobile
Drop off items at the recreation center.

Saturday
1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Wal-Mart
corner of Dawes and Cottage Hill
West Mobile
