One killed in I-10 accident

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - One person died in an accident in Mobile on I-10 near Rangeline Road Friday morning.

When Mobile Police responded to the accident around 9 a.m. on Nov. 9 they said, Atoya Grayson, 26, was killed when her vehicle overturned.

Officers arrived to find Grayson had been ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Three other occupants of the car were transported to USA Medical Center to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Preliminary results of the investigation revealed speed was a contributing factor to the crash.
