MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Overnight storms created flood troubles for some in Mobile County Wednesday.

The Pigram family woke up around 3:30 a.m. to rising water inside their home. They live on Gayle Street, just off of Virginia Street in Downtown Mobile.

Ronnie Pigram says the road has flooded before, but not like this.

"When I woke up, I was reading and that's when I looked down and saw things floating out of the bedroom," Pigram said.

The water had receded by the time FOX10 cameras arrived. However, the family still has a sopping mess to clean up.
