PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile County Sheriff's jail log shows that Donnell Hunter, 37, of Prichard, Alabama was arrested Monday.

Hunter is running for District 4 on the Prichard City Council. A runoff election between Hunter and George McCall, Jr. is scheduled October 23, 2012.

Bishop State Community College officials say they charges stem from the theft of a golf cart from their main campus.

Hunter was charged with receiving stolen property. The jail log says he has since bonded out.
