Prichard pairs BBQ and Blues

PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) - The City of Prichard is proud to announce its 4th Annual Blues and BBQ Cookoff, to be held on Saturday, October 20.

The festival includes great BBQ from amateur and professional teams.

There will also be music from New Groove, Flyte Tyme, Perfect Image, Simone D., local rappers, gospel and more. The two stages will have continuous entertainment all day for adults and young people.

The little ones will also have something to do. The children's village will include games and food.

Tickets are $5 at the gate. Proceeds will benefit the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Mobile Chapter, Inc.

If you want to go, the fun starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. at Prichard City Hall.
