BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala. (WALA) - We won't know until next week who will win the race for Bayou La Batre mayor.

In Tuesday night's runoff election, incumbent mayor Stan Wright received 261 votes, and challenger Henry Barnes received 249 votes.

City officials say there are 30 provisional ballots that need to be counted.

So next Tuesday, October 30 at 11:45 a.m, those ballots will be counted at city hall. An official said the count will determine the final winner.
