SPD: Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

SARALAND, Ala. (WALA) - Investigators said members of the Saraland Police Department Special Operations Unit arrested a 19-year-old for possession of cocaine during a routine traffic stop.

According to police, Nelson J. Salinas from Rio Grande City, Texas, was arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance T

Police said the arrest is the result of a traffic stop on I – 65 during which police seized the cocaine.
