Spencer-Westlawn holds pre-registration

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - It's back to school in less than a month for Mobile County Public Schools. One of the big changes this year is that Spencer and Westlawn Elementary schools have merged.

Parents can pre-register their children at Spencer-Westlawn Thursday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Before parents go to the school, they need to register their child online. Click here for the link. If you do not havea computer at home, you can go to the public library.

Parents can contact the school for passwords for returning students.

Once the online registration is complete, parents should bring their proofs of residence and other information to be scanned.

Students will need:

• Guardian’s  driver’s license
• Two proofs of residence
• Official birth certificate
• Social security card
• Blue immunization card
• Report card (Except for Kindergarten students)

A limited number of computers will be available at the school for parents who do not have access to one.

Students will need the following uniform for school.

• Red polo shirts
• Khaki pants, khaki shorts, or khaki skirts
• Brown leather belts
• Plain brown leather lace up shoes (no boots or sneakers)
• White socks
