MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - According to the Team Starla Facebook page she was admitted to the USA Children's and Women’s Hospital over the weekend but was feeling much better by Sunday.
Starla is the 3-year-old girl who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Just Friday, her mother, DeAndre Chapman, called to tell us she was in remission and looking forward to spending Easter at home.
“She is excited to be doing all the things little girls her age do,” said Chapman.
The latest status update on the Team Starla page said; “Starla is feeling much better tonight (Sunday). She was having diarrhea which caused her little body to dehydrate. She has been getting IV fluids and taken off of the particular med that may have caused the diarrhea. Thank you all for continued prayers. Just Trust... God is with us.”
“Just Trust” is the Team Starla mantra and is printed on the pink bracelets worn by supporters.
