Surveillance video of robbery released

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile County Sheriff's Deputies have released to FOX10 News the surveillance video from one of the Dollar General Store robberies.

In the video, you can see the three suspects enter the store and force the clerks around.

"The video we watched just now was from a robbery to the Dollar Store in Wilmer which occurred on March 9. Ee had another robbery Sunday night which had the same perpetrators involved," said Sgt. Joe Mahoney.

Mahoney said it's good video, and they have more of it.

"Same outfits, same MO; and in this case, they got almost $2,000 in cash and a large amount of cash in the last robbery as well," Mahoney said.

Mahoney said the video from Sunday night is almost identical to the video from March 9.

"They're coming in right at closing time. These businesses need to be cognizant of the fact that this is going on, maybe take extra precautions, lock the doors, be aware of their surroundings," said Mahoney.

Mahoney said each of the three wore a hoodie, and had a bandanna covering his face.

If you have any information on these two incidents, you are asked to call the Mobile County Sheriff's Office. Mobile Police are also investigating two similar robberies that happened the NT DVD on Moffett Road and Dollar General on Schillenger Road.
