Suspect arrested for his mom's death

SARALAND, Ala. (WALA) - The Saraland Police Department says a suspect is in custody after a domestic dispute ended with the death of the 66-year-old victim.

Investigators say they responded to a domestic violence call and found Gloria M. Vance unresponsive. They transported her to Springhill Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Officials say they have arrested the victim’s son 30-year-old Willie D. Vance Jr. in connection with the incident. He is charged with murder.
