PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE May 22, 11:43 p.m.: Prichard Police arrested Jamarcus Edmond for the May 12 shooting at Club Suga. He is being held on no bond in Mobile County Jail and faces two charges of second-degree assault one charge for discharging a weapon into an occupied building.
May 18: Club Suga owner Mike Wilson said he had no idea the man wanted for a shooting at his business on St. Stephens Road was out on bond at the time for attempted murder.
Wilson showed FOX10 News where a bullet shattered a glass window at his Club Suga on Saturday.
Wilson said a security guard searched Jamarcus Edmond before he could enter the club, and that's when he found a weapon.
Wilson said the security guard told Edmond he could not bring a weapon into the club and told him to leave.
Wilson said Edmond got mad, got into his car and started to drive off. That's when he fired a shot from the street.
Prichard Police are now looking for Edmond and consider him armed and dangerous.
The 22-year-old was arrested in April 2012 for allegedly shooting a store clerk at a St. Stephens Raceway less than five miles from the club.
Edmond was granted bond for the attempted murder and robbery first degree charges related to that incident.
