MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Prichard Police arrested Anthony Greene, 16, and charged him with first-degree sex abuse after they said he smacked a woman’s backside at a local convenience store.
The incident happened Tuesday morning outside the Two Dragons convenience store off Dunlap Circle.
The store owner said Greene was prohibited from being on the premises after a previous altercation. He said he repeatedly asked the teen to leave, but Greene refused.
As two women were walking into the store, surveillance video shows Greene continued to act out and smacked at least one of them on her rear-end.
Greene was also charged with loitering and disorderly conduct. He was booked into Mobile Metro Jail and later released on bond.
FOX10 News has learned the teen also has a history of bad behavior. We reported back in March that Greene was arrested for second-degree assault in a stabbing incident.
Prichard Police Chief Jimmie Gardner told FOX10, Greene escaped from the Strickland Youth Center after he shoved an officer through a gate and pulled it closed, locking the officer in.
Gardner said the teen was handcuffed and managed to escape; he was recaptured a short time later.
