Trinity Episcopal congregation to be in hall by Easter

Trinity Episcopal Church was damaged during the Christmas Day tornado that tore through midtown Mobile. Church officials said they are working to restore the sanctuary and hope to have the repairs completed by Easter.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Signs of recovery following the Christmas Day 2012 tornado are slowing becoming visible in Mobile.

One building damaged by the tornado is Trinity Episcopal Church.

The good news is, officials said the congregation is expected to be back in the repaired parish hall for Easter Sunday, March 31.

The hall, named Irving Hall, lost its front wall during the tornado. It's since been replaced, and a copper roof is being installed.
