Trinity Gardens parade rolls through

Published : Saturday, 25 Feb 2012, 7:00 AM CST

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Trinity Gardens Mardi Gras parade will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012.

This is a unique parade route since it makes it way through the Trinity Gardens neighborhood. Residents need to take notice of posted No Parking signs as well as barricade placement.

The City of Mobile began placing barricades along the route on Wednesday morning and concluded Friday evening. Drivers should be aware the barricades are set up along the neighborhood streets’ right-of-way.

On Saturday morning, police will lock the barricades, which will block the residential driveways. Following the conclusion of the parade, barricades will be unlocked to open the driveways.

Any vehicles parked along the route after 9 a.m. on Saturday morning will be towed. No Parking signs have been placed on the parade route to alert drivers.

Barricade removal will begin on the morning of Monday, February 27, 2012.
