MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Firefighters quickly extinguished a car that burned in a home's driveway in Mobile on Saturday.

The car was fully engulfed in flames before firefighters put it out in the early evening of Nov. 24. The fire happened outside a house on Dabney street near Flicker Court around 4 p.m.

Billowing smoke could be seen as far as Eastbound I-10 near Michigan Avenue.

No one was hurt and firefighters were able to put it out in about 10 seconds. There is no word on what caused it.
