OKALOOSA, Fla. (WALA) - A 41-year-old-man is in the hospital in critical condition after his vehicle left the road in Okaloosa County.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Curtis Jordan of Holt was hospitalized in critical condition after his vehicle left the road on State Road 85 around noon Saturday.

The FHP says they don’t know why Jordan’s vehicle began to veer off the road and enter the grass median. They said alcohol was not involved.

They said the vehicle began to flip over and flipped several times before stopping in the median. Jordan was ejected and came to rest 30 feet away from his vehicle.

Officials said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
