K9 sniffs out drugs, $68K also found in Jeep

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) - On Thursday, February 14, 2013, a deputy with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on I-10 on a silver Jeep for excessive speed.

A K9 handler and his drug detector canine Diesel conducted a walk around of the Jeep. Diesel alerted to the odor of illegal drugs emitting from the Jeep.

A search of the Jeep revealed suspected Marijuana, Cocaine and MDMA, approximately $68,000.00 in U.S. Currency and drug paraphernalia.

Aaron Jorge Nobregas and Carlos Madeira Cardoso were arrested for
Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
