DESTIN, Fla. (WALA) - An armed robbery and murder suspect on the run for the last two weeks is now behind bars. Daundros Blackshear was arrested Tuesday at a home in Madison County, Florida.

Blackshear is accused of pulling the trigger and killing Junior Christopher Ferguson on November 15. He's also accused of wounding Peter Frazier.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Investigators report Blackshear and Arderiuss Warren set up a deal with Ferguson and Frazier to buy $1,000 worth of cell phones.  They met in the parking lot of the Gulf Terrace Condominiums. They say while Frazier and Warren discussed the deal, Blackshear pulled out a gun and shot Frazier and Ferguson.

Warren was arrested on November 16 for unrelated drug charges. He was charged the next day in connection to the murder and armed robbery.

It took longer for law enforcement to catch up with Blackshear. We're told they tracked him throughout North Florida and South Alabama. Investigators got their break when they learned Blackshear may have fled to Madison County.

Blackshear was found at a home on Anderson Pond hiding in a room with two small children. Deputies say he surrendered after a brief standoff.

Blackshear is being held at the Madison County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Okaloosa County.
