PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) -

Pensacola Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman seriously injured. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the area of Blount and Watson Streets.

Police say, a couple was arguing inside a vehicle when the man pulled out a gun and shot her in the face. The victim was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Her name and condition have not been released.

The suspect was taken into custody. No word on what charges he may face. So far, police have not released the suspect’s name.
