Pensacola Beach Air Show Schedule

PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. - Get ready for an action-packed, thrill-seeking weekend during this year's Pensacola Beach Air Show featuring civilian and military aircraft including the Blue Angels.

The world-famous Navy flight demonstration team, the Blue Angels, will perform exhilarating stunts and heart-pounding maneuvers over the Gulf of Mexico to entertain crowds on Pensacola Beach. The Blues will be joined by a thrilling line up for both the full dress rehearsal on Friday, July 10 and the main event on Saturday, July 11.

For both shows, the water will be cleared at noon and the entertainment will get underway with Julian MacQueen kicking off the show. The main event, the Blue Angels, will take to the sky at 2:00 p.m.

Following is a schedule of events for both the dress rehearsal and main show:

• 12:15 p.m. Water in front of show area is cleared for safety precautions

• 12:30 p.m. Julian MacQueen's Grumman Widgeon G44
   
• 12:35 p.m. US Coast Guard Search and Rescue (SAR) demonstration in an HH-65 Dolphin
   
• 12:45 p.m. Skip Stewart's Modified Pitts Special
   
• 12:55 p.m. Gary Ward's MX2 sport aircraft
   
• 1:05 p.m. Aeroshell Acrobatics Team, WWII North American AT-6 Texans
   
• 1:20 p.m. Swimmers are allowed back into the water
   
• 1:40 p.m. Water is cleared again for the main event
   
• 1:50 p.m. Fat Albert, a C-130 Hercules
   
• 2:00 p.m. Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornets

Other activities for Red, White and Blues week include The Blue Angel's Circle and Arrival maneuvers at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, as well as a Blue's practice session at 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, July 9 on Pensacola Beach.
