Veterans career fair set for Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - A career and resource fair aimed at helping current and former military members is coming to Pensacola, according to the Veteran Services Department at Workforce Escarosa.

The department, along with the non-profit VetReady, will host the Support our Troops Career and Resource Fair on Thursday, March 28, 2013. It will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Pensacola Grand Hotel, located at 200 East Gregory St.

The no-cost event is targeted towards veterans, military service members and military families, but it is open to the general public as well.

Attending employers include Austal USA, Allied Barton Security, The Mundy Companies, Aerotek, Enterprise Holdings, Lifeguard Ambulance Services and many more. Representatives from Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Upward Bound and Workforce Escarosa’s Military Family Employment Advocacy Program will be present to assist those with special needs.
