Body washes ashore near NAS Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Investigators believe the body of a missing jet skier washed ashore Thursday near NAS Pensacola. The body was found at Sherman Cove around 7:45 p.m.
An autopsy will be performed Friday to identify the body.
A woman reported her husband missing around 8:30 Monday night. She called about an hour after he was supposed to return home.
The man had been jet skiing off the coast of Pensacola.
The Coast Guard's Aviation Training Center in Mobile sent out search crews, but Isaac's winds and high seas made the search difficult.
Crews were waiting for the storm to pass to resume their search.
