Escambia deputies respond to shooting

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Escambia County deputies are investigating a shooting in the Sunrise Apartment complex, 4350 on W. Fairfield Drive.

Deputies responded to a shots fired disturbance at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday, November 20 in the apartment complex. Deputies found a man who had a non-life threatening injury. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A witness was able to follow the suspects for a short period until they were involved in a car wreck and fled on foot.

Deputies were in the area with a K-9 attempting to track the two suspects. A firearm was recovered in the area.
