PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - A man wanted for vehicle arson in Georgia had to be pulled from an attic by Escambia County, Florida deputies. Deputies arrested Perry Rhames Wednesday.

Deputies learned Rhames was possibly hiding in a house in the 600 block of West Sunset Avenue. After arriving on scene, deputies searched the house, but weren't able to locate Rhames.

Deputies were provided information that Rhames was hiding in the attic. So, deputies went into the small attic. They had to search through the insulation to find Rhames hiding.

Rhames was arrested. Deputies charged him with resisting an officer without violence in Escambia County, and will be held pending extradition to Georgia.
