PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Pensacola Police said they arrested a man with outstanding warrants on 27 counts relating to child pornography after identifying him via the internet.
Brent E. Hooper, 37, turned himself in around 10 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators said the suspect had downloaded sexually explicit images involving children onto his computer and transmitted them to other computer users.
North Fla. internet Crimes Against Children Task Force agents executed a warrant at the Pensacola man’s home after they identified him.
Hooper was charged with 20 counts of possession of child pornography and seven counts of distribution of obscene communications.
