Man found dead outside apartments

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Pensacola Police are investigating a homicide that happened Saturday night. Officers found a man dead outside of Gonzalez Court before 9 p.m.

The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Christopher Boyer White.

Police say they received calls about gun shots at the apartment complex on Ninth Avenue and Fisher Street.

Lt. Doug Baldwin said White, was shot outside an apartment and died at the scene about 8:15 p.m. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
