PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Jimmy Buffett is set to hit the Pensacola Civic Center stage tonight, but the fun began long before that.
Starting at 8 a.m. Parrotheads filled the parking lot for a tailgate.
Hawaiian shirts and margaritas were easy to find, as the music blared and people mingled.
Lifelong Buffett fan Robert Fillmore took his truck and his tailgate in around 7:30 this morning. He’s excited to see what the night has in store.
“[Buffett] hasn’t been in town for 25 years,” Fillmore said. “We’re very excited, and just out for a good time [Tuesday] afternoon. We’re getting ready to do some tailgating, can’t wait to see him.”
Tailgating in the Civic Center parking lot was $25 for the whole day. The concert was set for 8 p.m.
