PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - The Pensacola Blue Wahoos is preparing for it's 2013 season. Before opening day, the minor league baseball team is looking to hire roughly 100 people to work during its 70 home games.
A job fair will be on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. It's from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium at 351 W. Cedar Street.
Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes and a completed job application to the job fair. Blank job applications will be available at the job fair. To get a job application, click here .
Job seekers will go through an initial screening at the job fair, followed by two more interviews. Those hired will begin training in mid-March, and should expect to work late afternoons until after the evening game ends during home games.
The Blue Wahoos is looking to fill positions including ushers, ticket takers, security, cleaning crew, retail store clerks and bat boys.
