Pensacola hosting community career day

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward wants to send out a message to residents; jobs are available in the city. The city is hosting a “Pensacola’s Got Jobs” community career day.
Officials say, over 400 jobs will be available at the event. Some of the organizations participating include the Hyatt Place, Pensacola International Airport, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, Baptist Health Care, and Navy Federal Credit Union. Aside from information on jobs available, the career day also features interviewing, resume, and application counseling.
The community career day is Monday, March 11, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Greater Little Rock Baptist Church, located at 901 North A Street. For more information, call (850) 324-9460.
