PFD: Attemped arson at T&C Food Mart

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Officials said the Pensacola Fire Department is on scene of an attempted arson fire. They said a call was received via 911 at 3:12 p.m., and the first truck arrived at 3:15 p.m. to find smoke and flames coming from rear of the T&C Food Mart at 611 W. Cervantes St.
Authorities said the fire was extinguished quickly and damage was minimal. The fire burned some vinyl siding and a gate.
Investigators said they notified the Florida State Fire Marshal who will lead the investigation due to accelerants being found.
No injuries were reported.
