PENSACOLA, Fla. - Two Pensacola police officers are on paid administrative leave after a Friday night shooting.
They have been identified as officer Eric Goss and Pat Doyle.
The shooting happened in the parking lot of Babe's show club on north Davis Highway.
Police say, Derrick Cox tried to run over the officers after a traffic stop. The officers both took shots at Cox hitting him three times in the arm.
Neither of the officers were hurt and charges are pending against Cox.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the
incident, and the Pensacola Police Department is conducting an
administrative review.
