PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Repaving will begin Thursday, November 1 on Spring Street between Garden and Cervantes streets.
The street work will begin at Gregory and Spring streets and move north.
The Downtown Library will remain open. Also, early voting will not be affected, and the library hours of operation will not change.
The library parking lot can be accessed from Wright Street, but the Gregory Street parking lot driveway is not open because of library construction.
On-street parking on the west side of Spring Street will be remain open Thursday and will be open soon as possible Friday morning after the asphalt has cured. On-street parking will be available on Gregory, Barcelona and Wright streets.
Local access will be maintained to all properties on Spring Street and all side streets will remain open.
The reason for the road closure is repaving, restriping and conversion of Spring Street from one-way to two-way traffic flow.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution while traversing the work zone.
