PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Pensacola Police need your help finding the three men, who robbed another man outside a gas station on Cervantes and “E” Streets.
Police said around 8:00 p.m., Wednesday night, they were called to a parking lot near Pace Boulevard and Cervantes Street.
A man said he was robbed outside a gas station, down the street.
“Last night, inside the store we heard, like a gun shot, outside we really did not know what happened ... The customer rushed in and said somebody shot at somebody and was trying to rob him,” said Rami Okab, owner of the gas station and convenience store on Cervantes Street.
The victim was giving his friend, Robin Ball, a ride home, when they decided to stop at the gas station.
The trouble started when she went inside.
“And then I come out the store and they got him jacked up, telling him to give me his money and they hit him in the head, in the face with a gun and then they fired and we all ran back inside,” said Robin Ball, the victim’s friend.
The victim told the suspects he didn't have any money, and then he said they assaulted him, hitting him in the face through his driver's side window.
“A little baby ran across the street, ran across the path of the guy and the guy fired a gun and shot,” said Ball.
The victim told police he punched his accelerator trying to escape, and he heard a gun shot behind him as he sped south on "E" street.
“The police came and looked at the surveillance cameras in the store and they have a couple suspects they think -- the witnesses gave them good descriptions of the suspects,” said Okab.
Police found a bullet hole in the victim's truck bed and one in his tool box case.
“By the grace of God, I was saved and that little child was saved and they should get them guys because that was wrong they ain't got nothing better to do than go out there and rob people and we just pulled up there,” said Ball.
Business was back to normal Thursday afternoon, the store owner says he plans to add more cameras so that customers feel safe.
