LEAKESVILLE, Miss. (WALA) - Authorities arrested three high school students in Leakesville, Miss. Friday morning after authorities said a search of Greene County High School led them to potential weapons.
Officials said an anonymous tip led authorities to the high school where the search was conducted.
Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies aren’t releasing many details, but they said they found the items inside school that could be potentially used as a weapon.
Deputies said the tips were warnings of violations of the school districts “Student Code of Conduct.”
Friday the school district stressed that no one was in danger from the incident.
Deputies told FOX10 a full investigation into the students and why they had the potential weapons is ongoing.
Some information was obtained from WLOX.
