WCSO: Man stole over $300K in purses

SANTA ROSA, Fla. (WALA) - The Walton County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested a man accused of stealing over $300,000 in merchandise from a Coach Outlet Store at Silver Sands Outlets.

The sheriff’s office said they discovered through the Orange County Sheriff’s Office that Fabian Fabian, 39, was involved in a similar burglary in Orange County. Officials arrested him on Sept. 7.

Sheriff’s office officials said the burglary in Walton County happened in September 2011. WCSO said they located an improvised signal jamming device that disrupted the store’s alarm system and allowed the burglar to escape with the merchandise.

Fabian was booked in the Walton County Department of Corrections with a $100,000.
