MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) - A Mobile woman waits for word that her son's murder is solved. DeAngelio Williams was gunned down in February. His murder is one of two unsolved homicides in the city of Mobile.

Cathleen Williams' life was turned upside down in early 2010.

"It was hard, so bad. Sometimes I think I can still see him," said Williams.

Her 19-year-old son was shot by two men in Mobile's entertainment district. It happened in the parking lot at Franklin and Francis Streets.

Williams said she hasn't been to the spot where her son was gunned down.

"My son fought for his life," said Williams. "Evidently, it was their job to give it up with a hoodie and pistol and rob my son. They didn't have to take his life."

Meanwhile, arrests in two high profile murder cases were made.

First, four people were arrested for the murder of Kyser Miree, then Carlos Kennedy was arrested for the murder of Zoa White.

Williams hangs onto a $10 bill found on her son the night he was killed. She said she'll never spend it. Instead, she spends her days thinking about the day police will call with good news.

"I will call everybody I know. I will get a bullhorn and spread the news., 'I am free, it is over,'" said Williams.

Police say there are no suspects in the murder of DeAngelio Williams.

The other unsolved murder happened in July, when a man walked in on a home invasion. Jason Jackson, 25, was shot outside a home on Kenny Street. Police say the men tied up Jackson's girlfriend and children and demanded money.

If you have information on either of the murders, call Mobile police at 251-208-7000.
