Man accused of shooting wife arrested

MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) - Mobile Police say Michael Berry has been arrested. Berry is accused of shooting his wife, Wendy Stevens, in front of her four children Tuesday night outside the RBC Bank near Cottage Hill and Schillinger Roads.

Officials say Michael Berry was caught Wednesday evening at the Winn Dixie at the intersection of Cottage Hill and Schillinger Roads, not far from where the shooting occured.

A police spokesperson said Berry will be charged with capital murder.
