PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - Police say a young mother has been reunited with her 3-year-old after the child was taken in a carjacking at a Pascagoula drug store parking lot.

Lt. James DeShannon Massey says no one was injured during the incident.

The Sun Herald reports police arrested 25-year-old Bradley Scott Hilsabeck, who they say pushed a woman away from her car in a Walgreens parking lot and stole the car with her 3-year-old daughter inside.

The carjacking and kidnapping happened at 6:45 p.m. Sunday. Police described it as a random attack.

The car was spotted about 40 minutes later and the suspect was arrested.

Hilsabeck, of Pascagoula, has been charged with carjacking and kidnapping.

It was unclear whether Hilsabeck has an attorney.
