YAZOO CITY, Miss. (AP) — Yazoo County authorities are looking for an escaped inmate.

Yazoo County Chief Investigator Tommy Irvine says Williams has family members in southern Yazoo County, but says authorities aren't sure where he's going.
Williams, a black man, is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. Yazoo County Sheriff Jacob Sheriff says Williams changed clothes and it is unclear what he's wearing. Investigator Irvine says Williams may be armed.
