CLEVELAND, Miss. (AP) — A Bolivar County grand jury will determine whether to indict Rodney Shelton Fulgham for vehicular homicide in the 2012 death of his girlfriend, who was run over on U.S. Highway 61.
The Bolivar Commercial reports (http://bit.ly/YsaPIF ) that a judge this past week found probably cause to refer the case to the grand jury after a preliminary hearing. Fulgham remains in the county jail without bond.
Authorities say 20-year-old Shelby Harmon was struck and killed as she walked along U.S. 61 near the Boyle community just south of Cleveland on Oct. 20, 2012. Authorities say it appeared Harmon was struck by at least three vehicles. Her body was found at the scene.
