Sentencing set for May 1 in crack cocaine case

    OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for May 1 for a man convicted in a north Mississippi drug case.

    Anthony Adams pleaded guilty in November to distributing more than 28 grams of crack cocaine.

    The indictment says Adams distributed the drug in March 2011. The case originated in Greenville.

    Sentencing is scheduled to take place in U.S. District Court in Oxford.
