CLINTON, Miss. (AP) — The Philip Glass String Quartet No. 5 will perform April 12 at Mississippi College, part of the college's James S. Sclater Chamber Series.

The program will feature selections from the quartet as well as music by Mozart and Brahms performed by members of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.

The concert is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Jean Pittman Williams Recital Hall in Aven Hall.

Tickets are $25 for general admission and $10 for students from any school.

The series is a tribute to Sclater, who retired in 2010 after four decades of service to the college's music department.

More information on the performance is available by contacting Dottie Serio at the college music department, 601-925-3440 or Serio(at)mc.edu.
