OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP Modified) - An Ocean Springs firefighter has been suspended without pay after his arrest on charges he exposed himself to an elderly woman in D'Iberville.

Ronald Allen Farr, 49, of Ocean Springs, was arrested by D'Iberville police and charged with indecent exposure, the Mississippi Press reports. The Ocean Springs Board of Alderman suspended him Tuesday.

The arrest followed an affadavit from an 87-year-old woman who said Farr exposed himself to her in a Big Lots parking lot in D'Iberville.

According to police, Farr exposed himself to the woman while both were in vehicles. Farr asked for directions and unzipped his pants, according to the police report.

The victim wrote down the tag number and vehicle description, which D'Iberville police used to identify Farr.

Farr is currently out on bond and is expected to appear in court on December 17. Meanwhile, police are continuing to investigate the incident.
