GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) -

A Gulfport man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of another man.

According to Harrison county jail records, 33 year old William Cameron Sumrall is being held on a $1 million dollar bond.

Deputies say, they responded to a call around 3 a.m. Sunday and found 23 year old Richard Zayas in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say, an investigation determined that Zayas and Sumrall had an altercation in a different location from where the victim was found.  Investigators have not said what the argument was about.
