Single car wreck kills Mobile Co. man

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A Mobile County man was killed in a single car accident Thursday night. Christopher N. Holderfield, 27, of Mobile died when the 2002 Dodge Dakota he was driving left the road and overturned according to Alabama State Troopers.

Troopers said Holderfield was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected. Holderfield was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said the fatal accident happened around 7:12 p.m. February 10. Holderfield was traveling Alabama 193 approximately ten miles north of Dauphin Island when his car left the roadway.

State Troopers continue to investigate the fatality.
