MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - On November 30, Mobile police said they arrested 45-year-old Calvin Levester Chambers for a burglary and rape that occurred October 26, 2012 on Glenwood Street in Mobile.
Police said an 85-year-old woman was confronted by an intruder after she returned to her home in midtown from church, where she was assaulted and raped.
They said after conducting an investigation, detectives determined Chambers is a suspect in the case.
