NEW YORK (AP) — An infant born after his parents died in a New York hit-and-run accident has also died.
Police continue their search for the driver and a passenger of a BMW that slammed into the livery cab that Nachman (NAHK'-muhn) and Raizy Glauber (RAY'-zee GLOW'-bur) were riding in Sunday in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. A medical examiner says both of the Glaubers died of blunt-force trauma. The driver of the cab was treated for minor injuries.
Police have not said whether investigators have a specific suspect in mind.
Doctors had delivered the baby by cesarean section. His autopsy results are expected sometime today. A spokesman for the family's Orthodox Jewish community says the baby will be buried upstate after his body is released from a hospital.
